We're delighted to be able to share our VIBES good practice award case study.
The hut was a great 2020 project - having a plan and a focus was just what we needed when our business stopped with the nationwide lock down in March.
Popping up during the summer in Dunbar's Victoria Harbour has been instrumental in our 2020 survival plan. Having a physical presence helped us to raise our profile locally and attract customers to our website and social media accounts.
The hut@theharbour gave us an opportunity to showcase how we reuse, restore and reimagine objects to make lighting, home accessories and furniture.
The hut has now swopped the seaside for a lakeside and nestled in a cocoon of trees as a Therapy Hut, giving a safe space for decompressing as part of the service offered by Ruth Coates Counselling at Go Train East Rocks, Foxlake.
The success of the hut has inspired us to start planing , building and restoring another wheeled pop-up project for 2021.
We'll be sharing updates on our new project's progress very soon.
